A biennial event celebrating culture and promoting investment. This is a major component of the Forum’s mandate to highlight the immense economic opportunities in the North and attract and catalyze Ghana-based, Diasporan, and other foreign investments and partnerships with local communities for rapid economic development and growth. The Expo is designed to convene business fora, capacity building programmes and trade expos with neighbors in southern Ghana, surrounding countries and beyond to spotlight the abundant economic potential in the Northern Savannah Ecological Zone ( NSEZ) 

 This activity dovetails into the Savannahfest and Investment Expo as part of the high points of the roadmap to the Expo. Basically, a royal visit to the Diaspora, led by prominent Chiefs to engage the Diaspora and strengthen historical ties. It aims to highlight their ancestral origins in the Savanna and Sahel belts of West Africa, to which Ghana’s Savannah belt belongs, and providing a critical avenue that would enable them to return to and reconnect with their ancestral roots. Their “Homecoming” possesses great spiritual significance and force for both communities by helping to bridge the existing psycho-emotional separation. It also holds many stores of value in potential for business exploration, development, and cooperation between Diasporans and Ghanaians in and from the NSEZ and throughout the country.
